Sub-District, and particulars of these cases
will be found in the Local Summary for that Parish.
The next Table shows particulars of the Vaccination
performed in the whole District, and in the various
parishes of the district, for the year 1899.

From the above it will be seen that out of 5,539
births, 3,673 or 68.1 per cent, were successfully
vaccinated, compared with nearly 62 per cent, in
1898, so that the amount of Vaccination has slightly
increased.
Deducting the number of children who died unvaccinated
viz. 475—the number postponed, insusceptible,
and removals, there are still left 980 children unaccounted
for. This gives a percentage of 17.7, and
it is satisfactory to note that this percentage is lower
than the two preceding years, and almost identical
with the percentage in 1896.
