To produce the corrected death-rate, the number of
deaths of parishioners occurring in outlying public institutions
must be added (26), producing a total of 146,
and a rate of 18.4 per 1,000 of the population.
Rate of Natural The excess of birth s over deaths numbered
increase. 10,8 producing a rate of natural increase
equal to 13.7 per 1,000 of the population.
Table II. gives the number of births and deaths, birthrates
and death-rates, and rates of natural increase
during the past ten years.
