They numbered altogether 489, as compared with
525 in the previous year, and of these, 233 took place
in the Union Infirmary, 175 in the general and special
hospitals of the Metropolis, and 81 in the hospitals of
the Metropolitan Asylums Board. The relative mortality
in these institutions of persons from the several sub.
districts is as follows:—
