inquests. During the year six deaths were referred to the Coroner, and in four of the cases, inquests were held, and the following are the verdicts of the respective juries:—

Mortality.
The deaths of infants under one year of age
(parishioners) numbered 25, being equal to
116 per 1,000 births registered during the year, compared
with 126 per 1,000 during the previous year.
Senile
Mortality.
At the age of 70 years and upwards, 15
deaths were recorded, and are here tabulated.
