Medical Officers of Health Annual Report.
There was no great departure from the average in
the remaining groups of causes of death, but those from
diseases of the digestive organs were 15, and those from
violence were 11, below the corrected average.
Taking the Table as a whole, it is seen that 222
more persons would have died during the year if the
same rate of mortality had been maintained as in the
preceding ten years.
