that frequent complaints were made of it, and that houses were
built within three feet of the slaughter-house door. The
case was heard by the Justices, when, after taking my
evidence, they decided to view the premises, after which, I
believe, the license was granted.
The Police Court was also attended in reference to gutcleaning,
at 10, Field Place, and the Magistrate made an
order for its discontinuance.
