and that the evils which are expected to result from this
system will all vanish when once in proper working
order.
Other Inspections.—Various pig keepers' premises have
been inspected, and also the Alum and Ammonia
Companies Works in Lombard Road, improvements have
been suggested, and carried out with a view to prevent
the escape of disagreeable odours, and so conduce to the
comfort and health of the inhabitants.
