“by the removal of the entire cost of filtration." This
Sub-district could be easily and economically supplied in
the manner here indicated.
It is at length gratifying to be able to record the suppression
of that great nuisance to the town, the Gipsey
Encampment by the Alma Road. At the end of April of
the present year, the owner of the property on which the
encampment lay, evicted the whole of the people dwelling
there, under pressure of an order made by the sitting
magistrate for the abatement of the nuisance.
