knowledge of the conditions essential to the promotion of the general
welfare, the endeavours towards carrying out those conditions, and of
maintaining them when executed, have in this sub-district in no way
diminished ; but that they are still being directed with a view to improve
the sanitary aspects of the parish, to diminish the fatality of disease, and
to benefit alike every class of the inhabitants.
