DISINFECTING DEPARTMENT.
Outside the ordinary routine work of this department in
connection with Notifiable Infectious Diseases, it is noteworthy
that the special work in connection with the Nonnotifiable
Infectious Diseases (Tuberculosis, Measles,
Whooping Cough), which was increased in 1899 and 1898,
has been still more so during 1900, as shewn by the
sub-joined table:—

The Disinfecting work in Measles-infected houses is
specially noteworthy, as the Measles statistics for the past
year are the most satisfactory on record in the annals of the
Vestry. Taking the statistics for the last 10 years, the
number of deaths from Measles in the whole of the Parish
