PUERPERAL FEVER.
During 1900 in Lambeth 3 deaths were registered from
Puerperal Fever (a disease of child-bed), as compared with
12 during 1899, and an annual average of 12.7 during the
last 10 years (1890—99).
13 cases were notified, as compared with 24 during 1899,
and an annual average of 18 9 for the 10 years 1890-99.
The case mortality for 1900 is 23.1%
