During 1900, in Lambeth, 6 cases were notified from
Membranous Croup, and 2 deaths were registered, giving a
case mortality of 33.3, as compared with 22 cases notified,
and 6 deaths registered during 1899. Three of the six
Lambeth cases were removed to Hospital.
In London, during 1900, there were registered 1,558
deaths out of a total of 11,998 cases of Diphtheria and
Membranous Croup notified, giving a mortality of 12.9%*
uncorrected).
