N.B.—56 infected houses (wherein 57 cases of Ophthalmia Neonatorum occurred and 1037 infected houses, wherein
1428 cases of whooping cough occurred) are omitted from the 1913 figures, so that the results may be strictly
comparable with those of previous years, i.e., before Ophthalmia Neonatorum and Whooping Cough were
made notifiable diseases.
