Observations In 2 of the polio myelitis, and 2 of the cerebrospinal meningitis cases, there was some evidence of animals (cats
and dogs) being connected, in some way or other, with the illnesses.
N.B.—The usual preventive measures, that are taken in connection with other infectious diseases, were taken, together with the
routine stripping of papers off the walls of infected rooms.
