The inicro-organisms were separated by being grown cn
nutrient gelatine for three days, and were found, on microscopic
examination, to be the following:—Proteus Zenkeri, bacillus
prodigiosus, proteus vulgaris, bacillus fluorescens, bacillus
liquefaciens, micrococci, sarcince, torulce, staphylococcus,
pyogenes aureus, streptococcus, bacillus coli, bacillus subtil is,
various moulds, &c., &c.

No specific pathological organisms, which are associated with the well-known infectious diseases, were found.

* In 10 samples (i.e., 83'3 per cent.) of suspected Typhoid Fever blood,
in connection with which there was a reaction, the reaction was slightly (or
feebly) marked.
N.B.—10 other samples were also examined during 1907, viz.: foeces 1, urines 3, cancer
growth 1, suspected anthrax discharges 4, andbrush head 1.
