UNDERGROUND CONVENIENCES.
The conveniences have been kept under regular inspection
during 1907—the male conveniences by the male inspectors and
the female conveniences by the female inspectors.
The staff of attendants, individually and collectively, have given
satisfaction.
The new Waterloo Underground Convenience (Males and
Females) constructed at the corner of York Road and Waterloo
Bridge Road, was opened to the Fublic on May 22nd, 1907.
The total cost was £3,364 Is. 10.1.
A tender was accepted during 1907, for the construction of the
convenience to be elected at Brockwell Park, Herne Hill, at a
cost of £2,331 10s. 5d.
