Immunisation against Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping
Cough
The scheme for immunising children against diphtheria, whooping
cough and tetanus using a triple antigen was continued during 1962.
It has called for very careful programming to fit in with other
prophylactic measures and the parents of all children in the Area
have been offered appointments as soon as their children have reached
the age of two months. There is provision for follow-up of
defaulters to achieve maximum acceptance rates.
