CLOSING ORDER DETERMINED
A Closing Order made on 14 Ennis Road on 10th October 1958
was determined on 12th July, 1960, the work required to render the
premises fit for human habitation having been carried out.
DEMOLITION ORDERS
A Demolition Order was made on 12 Great North Road on 18th
January, and the premises were demolished in June.
INSPECTION OF SHOPS
131 inspections under the Shops Act were made and it was
found that apart from a number of minor infringements, which were
dealt with the provisions of the Shops Act have been well observed.
Only one written notice was served during the year as, generally
speaking, the proprietors of shops remedied defects as the result of
informal notices.
