DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION
Regular sessions for this purpose are held at the Welfare Centres and
the parents of children attending the Day Nurseries are also encouraged
to allow their children to be immunised.

2.—Only one case of diphtheria was notified during the year. The
patient was a child of 5 years who was not removed to hospital. She had
completed immunisation in October 1946 but had not received the
recommended "booster" injection just before starting school.
