At the end of 1938 . 8,058 children had been injected and
there were 817 completed cases, i.e., each receiving the requisite
three injections.

VACCINATION.
The Public Vaccinators inform me that they performed
vaccination of persons in the Borough during 1939 as follows:—

PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS.
(PUBLIC HEALTH ACT, 1925, SECTION 66.)
Seven cases of ophthalmia neonatorum were notified. Three
were treated in hospital and four were nursed at home.
All the hospital cases were in-patients of North Middlesex
County Hospital.
There was no case of blindness resulting from this infection.
