The number last year was 1,394. The total of the accounts
paid to 31st December amounted to £726.
The cost per pint was 3d. from May to August and 3Jd. from
September to March, from which price a discount of 5 per cent,
is deducted from milk purveyors' accounts.
MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE DENTAL SCHEME.
The Dental Scheme for mothers and young children, started
in 1928, continues to do good work.
Tlie cost of dentures for mothers, in excess of what the
mothers are ahle to pay, was home by the Voluntary Committees
of tlie Centres until 1936, when it was taken over by the Maternity
and Child Welf are Committee.
Tlie following is a record for the year of the Dental Clinic
for Mothers and Children.
