Milk Cookery Lectures.
A course of Milk Cookery Lectures was conducted at Brook
Road Centre by the National Milk Publicity Council. Unfortunately
they were not as well attended as was hoped and the
experiment was not extended to the other Centres.
Orthopedic Treatment.
A joint (Maternity and Child Welfare and Education Committees)
scheme for the early diagnosis and treatment and
prevention of crippling conditions in children from birth to schoolleaving
age has been in operation for about four years, and is
giving highly satisfactory results at relatively small cost. The
local centre of this scheme is at the School Clinic, and hospital
cases are admitted to the country branch of the Royal National
Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore.
