There were also 2 cases of Enteric Fever admitted from
Finchley and 1 from Wood Green.
Of other diseases treated in the Isolation Hospital during the
year there were:— Cerebro-spinal Fever, 1; Erysipelas, 2; Whooping
Cough, 1; Puerperal Fever, 1; Poliomyelitis, 1; Influenza, 3;
Influenza and Pneumonia, 1; and Pneumonia and Meningitis, 2.
One patient died of Cerebro-spinal Fever and one died of Whooping
Cough.

Mortuary.—The following table shows the number of bodies taken to the Mortuary and the Inquests held during the year:—

MunicipalLaboratory.—During the year 1,340 specimens were examined in the Bacteriological Laboratory from patients who were, or who. were suspected to be, suffering from the following diseases:—

Of the 124 specimens from suspected cases of Diphtheria, 25
were found to be positive; of the 191 specimens from suspected
cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis 31 proved positive.
There were 96 samples of sewage and effluent analysed
and reported on.
