Deaths from Zymotic Diseases.—The number of deaths
from each disease for 1914 and preceding years is shewn in the
following table:—

There were 42 deaths from Zymotic Diseases in 1914, as
against 40 in 1913.
The Zymotic death-rate is equal to .46 per thousand of the
population.
Diarrhoea and Diphtheria are the diseases responsible for the
higher Zymotic death-rate this year as compared with 1913.
There was one death from Scarlet Fever.
