Illegitimate Births.— There were 28 illegitimate births
recorded in 1911, and 31 in 1910, a decrease of 3.
The proportion of illegitimate births of the total registered
births, 1.8 per cent., as compared with 2.2 per cent. last year.
Fourteen or the illegitimate births occurred in the New E d monton Infirmary, and in the following table these have beer allocated to the Wards of the Borough in which the mothers resided before gaining admission to the Workhouse:—
