Tuberculosis.—Fifty-eight deaths occurred from consumption
of the lungs, and 16 from other forms of tuberculosis, or 74
deaths from all forms of tuberculosis.
Last year the figures were: Consumption of the lungs 54, other forms of tuberculosis 23; total for all forms of tuberculous disease 77.

This table shows that over 63 per cent. of deaths from consumption
of the lungs occurred in persons between the ages of 25
and 45 years, whereas from other forms of tuberculosis 75 per cent.
of the deaths were in children under 5 years of age.
