Births.—The number of births recorded during 1904 was
1,659, being 88 more than the number registered in 1903. Twelve
of these births occurred in the Edmonton Workhouse.
This gives a birth-rate of 19.69 per thousand persons living in
1904, as compared with 19.91 in 1903.
