The number of outside cases were : —
1899 1 case from outside the Hornsey Borough (or Urban District)
1900 8 cases do.
1901 2 „ do.
1902 15 „ do.
1903 36 „ do.
1904 36 „ do.
During 1904, out of 101 cases of Diphtheria notified in Hornsey,
56 (or 55 per cent.) were admitted to Hospital.
Practically all the patients were treated with antitoxin.
Typhoid Fever. —Five cases were removed to the Hospital
during the year, 3 being from Hornsey and 2 from Finchley. Of
the 5 cases one proved fatal.
