Total for the year133563192111362149341

Of the total number of cases admitted during the year (341),
149 were from Finchley, and 192 from Hornsey. The Finchley
cases were, therefore, nearly 44 per cent. of the total cases
admitted.
The number of cases admitted per month varied from 8 during
May to 40 during December, but averaged about 28 per month.
Speaking generally, cases from both districts were more numerous
in the second half of the year, but the periods of maximum
demand do not strictly correspond.
Thus the average monthly admissions for Hornsey was 16
and for Finchley 12½
