Nature of Preservative found.
(a) Milk. Boric Acid 11.46 grains per pint. Insufficient evidence to prove
wilful neglect either against vendor or wholesale dealer. Full report
respecting this sample sent to Local Government Board.
(b) Cream. 0.173 per cent. Boric Acid. Vendor cautioned. (First offence).
2.—Cream sold as Preserved Cream.
(a) Instances in which samples have been submitted for analysis to ascertain
if the statements on the labels as to preservatives were correct:—
(I.) Correct statements made 9

(b) Determination made of milk fat in cream sold as preserved cream:—
