DEATHS FROM ZYMOTIC DISEASES.
The following tables give details respecting the number of deaths, and the deathrates,
from the seven principal zymotic diseases, viz.:—Small-pox, Measles,
Scarlet Fever, Diphtheria (including Membranous Croup), Whooping Cough, Fever
(including Enteric or Typhoid, Typhus and Continued), and Diarrhoea. It will be
seen that the number is only 58 in comparison with a decennial average of 108.
The death-rate for the Borough was only 1.02 in comparison with 1.35 for
London.
