INFECTIOUS DISEASES
The number of notifications of infectious diseases in the Borough during 1908
was again small, having been only 316 in comparison with a decennial average of
424. During the past six years the notifications per 1,000 of the population have
been less than for London, and last year were 5.8 per 1,000 in comparison with 7.5
for London.
