ARTISANS' AND OTHER DWELLINGS.
These include houses and blocks of houses in which the artisan classes
mostly reside, although some are occupied by clerks and persons employed
in non-manual labour.
During the year eight blocks were added to those already in the borough in which there are now some 450 dwellings, containing 5,160 separate flats or tenements.
