The disease was most prevalent in Barns bury and South-East Islington
sub-districts, in which there occurred 70 and 101 cases respectively. Particulars
for each of the sub-districts are set out in Table L.XXVII.
Hospital Isolation.—Eighty cases, or 23.9 per cent. of the 334 cases
notified, were removed to or occurred in Hospitals, while 254 remained at home.
Fatality.—The 20 deaths represented a fatality rate of 6 per cent., which
is 2 per cent. higher than that of the preceding year.
