DEATHS IN PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS.
Within the Borough —2,034 persons died in the Public Institutions
located in Islington, of whom 1,407 belonged to this borough, the remaining
627 having come here for treatment or relief. Among the latter were 458
persons who died in the Holborn Infirmary, and 80 in the Great Northern
Central Hospital, 10 in the Islington Infirmary, 10 in the Islington Workhouses,
11 in the London Fever Hospital, 6 in St. Pelagia's Creche, 9 in the
Memorial Cottage Hospital, and 3 in the Aged Blind Home.
