SCARLET FEVER.
The deaths from Scarlet Fever have been few in recent years, and since
1907 have not exceeded 30. In 1910 there were only 11 deaths, and in 1912
only 9. These figures were, however, altogether exceptional and cannot be
expected to recur. The number of deaths now to be reported is 19, representing
a rate of 0.06 per 1,000. The districts in which they occurred are set
out in Table XL., wherein it will be noticed that no death was registered
in Barnsbury, and only 1 in Highbury.
