REMOVAL OF DUST.
The applications for the removal of dust were the fewest hitherto recorded,
being only 44, 5 of which were made in the first quarter, 19 in the
second. 11 in the third, and 9 in the fourth.
It is remarkable that the applications for its removal have fallen
since 1891 from 10,138 to 69 in 1909, and, as just stated, to 44 last year.
This is truly a marvellous decrease.

were provided, while 30 were repaired
