The actual number of garments or other articles, bedding, etc., disinfected
after exposure to infectious disease or contamination by vermin was 27,168,
as compared with 37,273 in 1909, and 36,106 in 1908. This decrease is entirely
due to the lesser number of cases of the notifiable infectious diseases that
have been notified.
