Included in the above totals are visits in connection with the sale
of horseflesh and inquiries into food poisoning outbreaks.
Other Food Premises.
Under this heading are included:—
(1) Off-licences.
(2) Food factories.
(3) Bonded warehouses.
(4) Chemists' shops.
(5) Visits made in connection with applications for entry on the
List of Persons entitled to sell poisons included in Part II
of the Poisons List.
(6) Visits to various offices in connection with inquiries regarding
adulterated samples.
Basement Bakehouses.
There now remain only nine underground bakehouses in respect of
which Certificates of Suitability have been renewed. Of the nineteen
reviewed, at the end of the quinquennium, ten had been closed.
