Diarrhoea and Enteritis.—The total deaths were 8—7 males and
1 female—7 being under 1 year old. The infant death rate from this
cause in Westminster was 5-1.

Whooping Cough.—14 cases were notified during the year, with
2 deaths. This is a huge decrease on the figures of 1929, when 246
cases, with 19 deaths, were recorded. 3 cases were moved to hospital.
The death rate for Westminster was 0-01, for London 0-03, and for
England and Wales 0-05.
The deaths from whooping cough during the last five years are thus

Cerebro-spinal Fever.—No case of this disease occurred.
Poliomyelitis.—3 cases occurred.
Encephalitis Lethargica.—-3 cases were notified. 4 deaths occurred
during the year.
Chicken Pox.—173 cases were notified, 3 being moved to hospital.
Mumps.—166 cases were recorded.
Anthrax.—There were no cases in 1930.
Puerperal Fever.—6 cases occurred, with 4 deaths—5 cases were
removed to hospital.
