drinking water, have been carried out by the Company.
The Slaughter-houses and Cowsheds are regularly inspected
and kept in a satisfactory condition: no license was
opposed either by the Parish or by the Metropolitan Board
of Works; I, however, recommended that the license for
the cowshed in Paradise Row be withheld until certain alterations
were made; the license was not applied for, and the
shed has since been turned into a stable.
