Sickness
The Tables of Sickness, which are appended, are not so
complete as could be wished, owing to the loss of one of the
Report Books for the Western District of the In-Wards.
Nevertheless, such information, although imperfect, is extremely
useful, as it directs my attention to houses recently
infected with zymotic diseases, and enables me to remove
their causes or such evils as may increase their virulence.
My best thanks are due to Drs. W. Griffith and Webb,
Messrs. E. Jay, C. P. Ward, C. Connock, and A. Greenhill,
for filling up some of the Returns.
