FACTORIES ACTS - PART I
Five hundred and forty-five inspections of Factories were made
during the year, and 18 notices were served. There are now 867 factories
of all types on the register, comprising 190 factories without
mechanical power, 646 with mechanical power, and in addition 31 building
sites, for which a further 127 inspections were made, but no
notices served.
