The following work of supervision has been carried out during the
year by Mr. David:—
MILKSELLERS.
During 1920, 24 new names were added to the Register of Milksellers,
and 15 names were removed during the same period. The total
number of milksellers actually on the Register at the end of the year
was 518.
The sale of milk was discontinued at 17 premises, and the business
of milkseller was newly started in 12 instances.
1,548 inspections of the various milkshops were made. The following
nuisances were discovered, in respect to which 2 intimation notices
were served:—
Dirty milkshop 1 case
Utensils dirty 1 case
Total 2 cases
All the above nuisances were remedied.
There are two premises in the Borough upon which noxious businesses or trades are carried on as under:—

The Inspector made 12 inspections of these premises during the year.
No nuisance was discovered. The periodic limewashing was carried out.
COWSHEDS.
There were two notices of applications for the renewal of licences
received in respect to cowhouses in the Borough.
