Of the 284 cases notified 278, or 97.9 per cent., were removed to
hospital with 33 deaths, a mortality of 11.1 per cent., whilst in the 6
cases treated at home there were 2 deaths, a mortality of 33.3 per cent.
The Wards most affected were St. Michael, Trinity and Christchurch,
in the order named.
ENTERIC FEVER.
The deaths from Enteric Fever during the year numbered 7, as
against 6, 7 and 11, in the three preceding years.
The total number of cases notified was 54 for the present year, and
35, 48 and 80 for the three preceding years.
