The following work of supervision has been carried out during the
year by Mr. David:—
MILKSELLERS.
During 1910, 105 new names were added to the Register of Milksellers,
and 98 names were removed during the same period. The total
number of milksellers actually on the Register at the end of the year
was 428.
The sale of milk was discontinued at 23 premises, and the business
of milkseller was newly started in 15 instances.
1,326 inspections of the various milkshops were made. The following
nuisances were discovered, in respect of which 17 Intimation notices
were served:—
Dirty milkshops 14 cases
Dirty milkstores 2 „
Paving defective 1 case
Dirty utensils 1 „
Dirty Milk 1 „
Total 19 cases
All the above nuisances were remedied.
