BLACK SMOKE.
During the year 1910 complaints were received at the Public Health
Office from persons other than the Council's Offices in regard to 62
nuisances from black smoke, occurring on different days. The undermentioned
are premises in regard to which more than one complaint
was received:—

the City of London Electric Lighting Company in respect to a
nuisance occurring on the 2nd December, 1909. The defendant
Company was fined £5, with 2s. costs.
