79 inspections of the slaughterhouses were made during 1909.
Insanitary conditions were found to exist in the undermentioned
instances:—
Fowls in pounds 1 case
Absence of litter 1 „
Walls of Lairs foul 1 „
Walls of Slaughterhouse foul 1 „
Gully in Slaughterhouse defective 2 cases
Timber stored over Lair 1 case
Furniture stored in Slaughterhouse 1 „
Total 8 cases
Three written notices were served. All the above nuisances were
abated.
