Proceedings for the recovery of the penalties shall be instituted by
the Sanitary Authority for the District in which the offence was committed
or of the District to the Medical Officer of which such notification as
aforesaid ought to have been made or in which such itinerant vendor as
aforesaid shall offer any such commodity as aforesaid for sale as the case
may be.

Special attention has been given to the places where Ice Cream is
manufactured and stored.
The following table shows the proceedings taken in each Ward by
the Inspectors.
In every instance where it was found that the premises were unsuitable
for the manufacture or storing of Ice Cream, a notice was served
specifying the works necessary to be carried out in order to render the
premises suitable, and these works were duly carried out or the making
of Ice Cream discontinued altogether.
