Nuisance from Stray Pigeons.
Prom time to time complaints are made concerning nuisance from pigeons and
it appears this pest is multiplying in several areas in the Borough particularly
those associated with grain wharves. Many of them are diseased and are known to
be carriers of food poisoning organisms and it is important that their number
should be kept at a low level. At the moment this nuisance is dealt with by the
Council's Official Pigeon Catcher.
